Knight, B. Peters, And Hedges June 25th Winners At Southern Oregon Speedway
White City, Oregon- Southern Oregon Speedway returned to racing action on Saturday, June 25th. Three classes filled the pit area, including Super Late Models, Dwarf Cars, and Mini Stocks at the Jackson County 3/8-mile facility.
Dustin Knight got the job done in the Super Late Model main event. The Medford motorist earned his first win of the season in the class for 2022. Medford’s Rich McCoy ended up being the runner-up over third-place finisher Bob Dees of Rogue River. Eric Massey, from Medford, ended the race in fourth, followed by John DeForest in fifth.
Brock Peters conquered the competition in the Dwarf Car division. It is the first time that the Eagle Point racer has managed to best the field in 2022. Medford’s Josh King wound up the runner-up while Colby Bergquist, from Crescent City, California took home third. Trevor Davis, of Central Point and Roseburg pilot R.C. Levin were fourth and fifth in the finishing order.
White City’s Ashtin Hedges was the victor in the Mini Stock ranks. It is the second race of the campaign that he has visited the winner’s circle. Quintyn Ericks of Klamath Falls and Scott Yerges were second and third. Tim Hedges beat out Dylan Irving for fourth place.
Southern Oregon Speedway returns on Saturday, July 2nd, and Sunday, the 3rd, for the R. Charles Snyder Salute. Both nights will feature IMCA Modifieds and Dwarf Cars, while the Outlaw Pro Stocks will join the Sunday card. The Modified feature payout is $7007.00 to win and $707.00 to start.
