Josh King Dominates Southern Oregon Dwarf Car Feature
White City, Oregon- The Stone Heating and Air Dwarf Cars complimented the Dave’s Home Supply Iron Head Sprints at Southern Oregon Speedway on Friday, May 17th. Twenty entries filled the pit area of the 3/8-mile clay oval.
Brock Peters took off from the get-go of the main event, setting the stage for an exhilarating race. The Eagle Point pilot maintained a quick pace but two cautions within the first five circuits. On the lap five restart, Josh King, a force to be reckoned with, would get a great run on Peters, sparking a thrilling challenge for the top spot.
King showcased his racing prowess on lap six, executing a flawless overtake out of the fourth and final turn. Despite Peters' persistent attempts to regain the lead, King maintained a comfortable distance. A late-race restart brought the field together one last time, but it was King who emerged victorious, crossing the finish line first.
The race saw R.C. Levin and Brenden McMaster from Roseburg securing the second and third positions respectively. Peters, who had a strong start, finished fourth, while Trevor Davis claimed the fifth spot at the end of the night.
