As the 2018 racing season nears the start fans of the incredibly popular Wild West Modified Shootout will be happy to know that the dates have been finalized. Fans and teams alike will get a chance at competing in eight races over the course of nine nights at six different facilities in California and Oregon. Below this release is also the 2018 pay structure.

The whole party will once again be kicked off at Siskiyou Motor Speedway in Yreka, for the lone Californian date, on Friday, June 22nd. The tour will head north to Southern Oregon Speedway, on Saturday, before a Sunday visit at Coos Bay Speedway. Monday and Tuesday will be both spent at Cottage Grove Speedway before heading to the northernmost location, Sunset Speedway Park, in Banks, on Wednesday.

Thursday is reserved for the only travel date as drivers and teams rest and recuperate for the final two legs. Although no racing will take place on this date the great people at FinishLine Graphics will be hosting a Drivers Appreciation Party at Willamette Speedway. Friday and Saturday will once again have Willamette host the closing rounds of the Wild West Modified Shootout.

Jesse Williamson enters the 2018 Wild West Modified Shootout with three notable statistics. Williamson leads the all-time feature win list, at ten, has four career Wild West Modified Shootout titles, and is the defending speedweek champion. Last year the crown would be decided in the final laps, of the final feature, on the final night. We shall see if it comes down in another close nail biter.

Each race will be $1,000.00 to win and $100.00 to start. A full breakdown of nightly payout can be found below this release. As has been the case for the last two Wild West Modified Shootouts the fine folks at Speed Shift TV will be providing live lap-to-lap coverage of every single round. Be sure and stay tuned to the Wild West Modified Shootout Facebook page for the latest news and updates.
